The very core of our mission seeks to improve the quality of life for those who are speech-impaired. In order to do so, we feel that current speech-generating technology needs to be advanced. It is apparent that the use of tablets and similar devices does not meet the needs of millions of patients around the world.

It is because we understand this problem and its importance that we are seeking to redefine what assistive technology looks like. We want to introduce a product that completely changes the landscape of speech-generating devices. Additionally, we want to make sure that our product is as beneficial as possible. Augmented Reality glasses engineered by 3DHologroup will remove the need for large, bulky SGDs. Instead, these glasses will create a minimal and effective option for all the users looking for a change.

In order to best pioneer this technology forward, we feel that it is important to understand the different types of speech impairment out there. We hope to broaden the scope of SGDs through the use of our AR glasses. Not only do they provide a hands-free method of communication, but our intricate software helps users generate speech more efficiently.

Overcoming speech impairment can often feel like a one-sided battle, but we hope to see our innovation level the playing field.
